Synthetic Transaction Monitoring - HTTP Based

Application monitoring based on Proxy Sniffer (PS). This tool is based on simulating the interactions between the browser and the server at the HTTP level. This kind of monitors are able to monitor most of current websites quite effectively as long as the content is not very dependent on JavaScript or browser-based user interaction.

Synthetic Transaction Monitoring - Browser Based

Application monitoring based on Selenium.. This tool is based on the simulation of user interactions with a browser, which consequently interacts with the server. The simulation is the most accurate possible, as it is doing exactly the same (javscript, caches, etc...) as a user browsing the site. On the other hand, these simulations require the execution of a browser for every concurrent check, thus resource requirements on the monitoring platform are higher.

Both approaches can be provided with 24x7 alert and incident management associated.
